Unit 2 – Rhythm and Tempo
Activity 1 – The Semiquaver
The student will be introduced to the semiquaver note and rest. Again the teacher will use flashcards to combine this note in different rhythmic combinations. In the next exercise, students are encouraged to perform the given two pieces according to the instrumental setting indicated.
Activity 2 – Dance of the Raindrops
In this exercise, students are encouraged to perform the piece according to the instrumental setting indicated.
