Lyrics:

Leaves on the trees are turning
yellow, brown and red.
Smoke from the bonfire
burning climbing overhead.

Here comes autumn,
bringing the mist and rain.
Summer has gone for another year,
autumn’s here again.

Swallows will soon be going,
flying to the sun.
They have a way of knowing
autumn has begun.

Here comes autumn,
bringing the mist and rain.
Summer has gone for another year,
autumn’s here again.

Look at the conkers growing,
ripe and shiny brown.
Here come the children throwing
sticks to knock them down.

Here comes autumn,
bringing the mist and rain.
Summer has gone for another year,
autumn’s here again.
